I only played it on the comp but i still think its cool...
Always found the series really overrated. They are good, sure, but they get way too much credit.
I think it was such a success because it was the first shooter on a console that was actually good. Or that didn't suck.
First one is still the best in the series
It might've been more interesting had it been released when it should've been, ages ago on PC. Now, it's really just a mediocre first-person shooter that gets far too much attention due to the sad state of console first-person shooter games (aside from CoD4).
Wow i cant imagine why
I have Halo 1 on pc and halo 3 on 360, halo 3 is very overrated, campaign sucks, but the online is fun, to many hardcore idiots online though, but then again, what game network doesnt have them.
Halo 3 is awesome, I don't care what any of you say. I'd probably be playing COD4 instead though if split-screen live play was allowed.
I loved the first game in the series for Xbox. PC version is great solely because the online multi-player is dial-up compatible. But I have to gripe about the PC version because there's some manor of glitch in the game that when the online round your in ends and then begins to load the next map it can cause your system to lock up.
If you want good shooters, get a PC.
HL 2 (episode 1 and 2 too) > Halo
COD 4 > Halo
Rainbow Six Vegas > Halo
Counter Strike > Halo
Bioshock > Halo
Unreal Tournament > Halo
Crysis > Halo
Rainbow Six Vegas sucked. I'd rather play Halo than that, but I agree that HL2, CoD4, and Bioshock are all better than Halo.
I liked Rainbow Six. In fact I couldn't get enough of it. Played the terrorist hunt game for ages after I finished the story.
I just couldn't get into it. I'd much rather play CoD4. I'm not sure why I even bought RSV. It was a waste of 60 bucks since I hardly ever played it.
Halo 2 and 3 were good but Halo is no longer the best fps franchise on consoles so it's ok. Halo 3 is my third favorite fps on conosoles, behind Call of Duty 4 and Resistance: Fall of Man.
i tried playing halo 2 a few times and after 5 minutes i seriously got sick.
i think the colors and pulsating lights got me motion sickness.
i started getting really hot and felt like spewing.
i can't play this game.
I never had that problem.
LAWL!!? Thats awesome.
Pulsating lights? I don't remember any pulsating lights... is your Xbox connected to your TV using an RF cable?
Pulsating lights might not be the right word... it's just the big contrast of colors flying everywhere. The color pallet used in this game doesn't agree with me. It so strange, I'm perfectly fine playing Quake games.
