2% my ass. My psp bricked for no reason and sony won't refund me or repair it , my ps2 broke and it was the same story , they always tell you to buy a new one. Sony also has always made consoles which were inferior to the other consoles yet they got the most support because they always "sell" the most. As for PS3 it just shows that sony's lack of creativity has caught up with them and that no one will spend that much on a system which will have mostly the same games as available on 360. So no sony does not rule.

Samsung makes the components for Sony's TVs. You have that backwards.

Now stop posting and go play in the arcade, kid.

They rule at ripping people off.

They rule at making medicore quality eletronic shit.

They rule at making there ps3 way overpriced for a blue ray we can care less about.

sony have the best console out right now with the ps3, bright future, resistance 2 and killzone 2 coming out, uncharted 2 soon, new mascot, PS3 is number one followed by xbox360 then the Nintendo Wii, I still see the nintendo wii as a last gen console, this next gen is HD gaming which the wii is not.

    PS3 >>>>> My old Dreamcast >>> wii

The PS2 was good. Great libary and graphics were... good enough for everyone. The PS3 I'm not too fond of. It's just too damn expensive.

The PS2 has a lot of great rpgs but I really don't like the Ps3. Sony is focusing on all these shooters. If I wanted Shooters then I'd play the Xbox 360 or PC.

Microsoft charges for online play and exclusive content which seems to be a rip off compared to Sony's free service.

Microsoft is more mediocre for not having built-in rechargeable batteries nor even wireless controllers for lower end 360s.

360 can seem overpriced when you get the elite edition with that fat hard drive. blu-ray holds more data, scratches less than dvds, and provides better quality.

If you know Microsoft than you know they don't care jack about you. If you mod the 360, than it's completely banned no matter what. If you even use the user name Hitler, you get banned. Seriously, they are nazi.

Maybe you're a fanboy for MS, I don't mind. Go pay more for a recharge station or batteries. Go sign your credit card for Live subscription. Sony now has Netflix and FaceBook (which I don't really care), but it kinda seems like Live is a rip off. Oh, enjoy those red rings of death!

Sony is paying through the nose to keep that free service going too. Pay to obtain DLC? is soley made at the descretion of the game developers. PSN has pay to obtain DLC as well. And no credit card is required for XBL, they sell pre-paid subscription cards at just about every retailer.

The fact that wireless controllers are optional is perfectly fine by me. And that the wireless controllers don't force you to use built-in proprietary rechargeable batteries is truly a plus. Rechargeable battery kits can be had for a mere $9.99 if you absolutely must have them.

The tiering system for the Xbox 360 is no worse than that of the teiring system for the PS3. Only difference is that, save for the HDMI port, you can buy official upgrades for an Xbox 360. With the PS3, on the other hand, you're stuck with the features of whichever tier system you originally purchased and can never hope to upgrade it to do the things that the higher class units can do.

If Microsoft "didn't care jack" about the consumers then why have they extended the warranties on all of the Xbox 360's to three-years from one-year warranty specified in the documentation?

And it's not like they're hiding the fact that modding your system gets you permanately banned from XBL. At least they make an effort to keep people from cheating in the online games. And anyone giving themself the username "Hitler" is just begging to be banned, it's like walking into a synagogue wearing a Nazi military uniform and shouting out "Hey I'm a Nazi, what you gonna do 'bout it?". There was a lot of amazing discoveries they made and remarkable things that they did during the brief existence of their empire. But at the end of the day thier regime was still nothing more than a symbol of pure unadultrated hatred. Who would want to associate themselves with that?

I don't consider myself a MS fanboy, I simply prefer them to the other two current gaming console makers. Netflix and Facebook are both being added to XBL as well, so again, that's a mute point.

Touché, valid points. I actually have no better preference of any system, but feel Sony has a better value.
I prefer having the best features placed than buying potential upgrades or subscriptions.

Actually, the extended warranty by Microsoft is really to cover their own sake from lawsuits since 360s get so many red rings, but it kinda depends on how you look at it.
